On Tuesday, November 11, 2014 IDOT plans to close the southern intersection of Willow Road and Wagner Road to install the utility and roadway improvements. The Wagner Road intersection is expected to be closed for three weeks and is tentatively set to re-open sometime after Thanksgiving. Regional traffic will be detoured west to Waukegan Road.

During the detour period the Village will:
- monitor the intersections, and will request signal timing adjustments, if needed, to minimize traffic backups;
- provide special Police patrols on local streets to reduce speeding and cut through traffic; and,
- ensure emergency responses routes are maintained to all part of the community for police, fire and ambulance access.
